What We Do
Six services. One goal: rebuild lives.
From residential rehabilitation to street outreach and school prevention — our programs address addiction at every stage, for individuals and their families.
All YDO services are completely free of charge.
IRCA — Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts
A safe place to begin again.
Our IRCA in Jiribam is a Government-recognised residential rehabilitation centre providing structured de-addiction treatment, medical detoxification, and psychological recovery support in a safe, supervised environment.
- Supervised medical detoxification
- Residential stay with full board
- Daily individual and group counseling
- Structured daily routine and life-skills training
- Medical monitoring by qualified professionals
- Spiritual and recreational activities

ODIC — Outreach Drop In-Centre
We come to you. No appointment. No judgment.
Our ODIC in Bisnupur sends trained outreach workers directly into communities to find individuals who are struggling and may never walk into a clinic on their own. We provide assessment, harm reduction, counseling, and referral linkages on the spot.
- Street-level and home outreach by trained workers
- Screening and needs assessment
- Harm reduction information and support
- Walk-in counseling — no referral needed
- Linkage to IRCA and hospital services
- Emergency support and crisis response

Individual & Family Counseling
Healing the person. Healing the family.
Addiction does not happen in isolation — it affects every member of a household. Our counselors work with individuals in one-on-one sessions, and with families together, to rebuild trust, communication, and shared strategies for recovery.
- One-on-one therapy with trained counselors
- Family group sessions and mediation
- Grief and trauma support
- Relapse prevention planning
- Peer support circles facilitated by graduates
- Ongoing check-ins after discharge

Prevention & Awareness Education
Stop it before it starts.
We run structured prevention programs in schools and community spaces across Manipur, reaching young people before they encounter drugs — and equipping peers to become advocates in their own circles.
- In-school awareness sessions (Classes 8–12)
- Peer educator training program
- Community awareness camps and rallies
- Parent and teacher sensitization workshops
- Anti-drug pledge drives and events
- 10+ partner schools across Manipur

Life Skills & Vocational Training
A skill is a door that never closes.
Recovery is not complete until a person can earn a livelihood with dignity. During and after rehabilitation, we provide practical training in tailoring, basic digital skills, and other vocational areas alongside professional soft-skills development.
- Tailoring and handcraft training
- Digital literacy and computer basics
- Communication and professional skills
- Resume building and interview preparation
- Links to local employment opportunities
- Support for self-employment and micro-enterprises

Aftercare & Community Reintegration
The work does not end at discharge.
Returning to life after rehabilitation is one of the hardest stages of recovery. Our aftercare program keeps former participants connected, supported, and accountable through regular follow-ups, group meetings, and employment assistance.
- Monthly follow-up visits and calls
- Aftercare group sessions with peers
- Family reconciliation support
- Employment placement assistance
- Community reintegration planning
- 12-month ongoing support post-discharge
